When K4 operated for Turkish we used the call sign Turkish. What's the problem?

We use other airlines callsigns frequently. Assuming, of course, they are the customer. One of the quirks of ACMI.

It's also the reason you may often hear Qantas pilots with American accents often flying across the US.

Pre covid a maintenance guy showed me a schedule for an Air France contract from the US through Dublin to Paris CDG. It was for the 74 but in the Covid world it may have been changed to T7. No announcement that I have seen and I suspect the whole deal has changed anyhoo.

I had one of those on my current 60 day line on the 747, but it dropped off a few days before the pairing started. Was looking forward to a CDG layover. Oh well.

There was a 60 day line that I got in the April ORD Captain bid package with 4 ORD-CDG and back in May. Before the end of April it all disappeared. Such is life at Atlas.

And over the years I’ve been GTI, PAC, UAE, QFA, TAY, THY, CPA, FDX, RCH, CMB and a few one off military callsigns at Atlas. Whoever’s paying the bill.

I guess it’s mentionable/quite obvious that we fly white jets that either haven’t been painted yet or are left white/anonymous per customer request if able or available. Granted, we have flown plenty of our aircraft carrying our customers logos if they so choose. $ buys paint = advertising. Air Pirates/Air Road Truckers/Air anything you so choose - it’s an interesting biz model.
