This... UPS and FedEx are still hiring and if you add a 747 Type to that resume you'll look like one of their hires. Atlas is trying to prevent itself from being in the situation that it was in pre-Covid19.

In that case just email everyone, everywhere and tell them they made a mistake...lol. Heck when you get the TBNT letter from fedex just call up HR and tell them you disagree ....lol I love the laughs these days.

On previous attempts at other airlines I’d get a TBNT email send at like 0120am.
Thats not even send by a person, your email gets fed into the evil mainframe and it spits out a standard rejection.
Late last year the main reason was probably being under qualified.
A no is a no for whatever reason and it’s probably because every morning looks like this:

Just echoing what others have already said but give it a shot applying on the widebody side. Once we’re all one big happy family you could always bid over to the 73 fleet if it (hopefully) sticks around.
It is possible they are viewing you as overqualified (more like a “flight risk”). That is just a shot in the dark though. Also it is highly likely that the TBNT email you received was a standard template letter, so to speak.
Best of luck if you’re still interested in AAWH. Looking at your experience the pilot group would certainly be more than happy to have you.
Cheers,

All this talk about 'flight risk' is pure non-sense guys...we need to face facts.
I see guys with 121, types, and test pilot experience, flying B-2, F-35 etc etc getting hired at Atlas....and they will be so gone once hiring starts back up it won't even be funny.
The recruiters have been telling folks they don't expect you to even be there that long, hence the low training pay...you are basically paying for your own type rating..you do understand that, right?

why would it be so hard to believe that if you get an email with the wrong information (you don’t have the minimums) could be a mistake? I think there is a possibility that the email might have been intended for someone else, it does happen.
