They are. Pre COVID hundreds of pilots a year were leaving Atlas and few were showing up for new hire classes. Now classes are full and they have thousands of apps on file. That has emboldened the company to offer only overall pay cuts. They refuse to discuss anything else with a $ cost attached to it.

Of course when the pandemic is over and hiring resumes elsewhere the stampede for the exits will resume, but management will be all smiles. They'll have have their pilots locked in to > 50% below market pay for the next decade.

This 1000%. UPS & FedEx are still hiring. And it will be very competitive to get on there. If a pilot wants a “career” they need to get on over there ASAP

Feb will be D-Day for the Atlas Air/Southern pilots.

Arbitration is going to take much longer than we have been told. We’ll be lucky to have a CBA by early 2022. Mark my words.

I think Amazon will end up buying a chunk of atlas and things will get extremely better after that

Congrats on those of you getting offers I applied in June and still under review. Did most of you leave your application alone, internal recs, emailed HR to trigger an interview? Good luck!

i just interviewed in dec, my app has been in since jun. I left my app alone. I got an internal rec from someone and the next day I got an invite so I am pretty sure that’s what pushed me over
