BeanBurrito, probably could’ve/should’ve started a new thread with this post: WARNING to all ACMI Carrier Pilots...doesn’t matter who you fly for-Atlas, ABX, ATI, Kallita, OMNI. Southern etc....no one is safe. You may think you have it good for a couple years, but then you’ll want to do something to correct a flaw in your contract...that’s when you’ll realize one ACMI carrier is just like the other.

It appears the Atlas and Southern pilots are destined to soon join that long line of pilots above left out in the cold.

Yes. All I can say is, don't take a UB Day, Sail and then post pics on FB with date stamps.

He was on his travel day. When we do work on UB, the first and last day are travel days, just like if you had a pattern ending with a DH. He'd just completed his union work, and got home on his last day (the travel day) and decided to go sailing. People took that and ran with it.

FYI, just like everything Atlas, UB days are based on Z day, so for someone living on the west coast, a UB day ends at 4-5pm local depending on the time of year.

A lot of Atlas and Southern pilots were in that line and came here to get out of the cold. At least it worked for a bit.
