Any insights for training? Things to know? How much down time to expect? How long is IOE on the 747 and 777?

How far out do you get your schedule in advance?

What can one expect to credit per month first year on the 777?

Year 1 - $38,240
$1,600 (training pay) X 4 months = $6,400
79.60 X 50 hours (first year monthly guarantee) X 8 months = $31,840

well I think the consensus is 62. But just figure 85 since no one seems to believe people who actually work here. Hopefully you can out base or something when you realize we were right.

62. But hey- don’t believe me. Come on over and see for yourself

To those who are concerned about credit hours. Planning for guarantee is the best course of action. Yes, it is possible to break 100K/yr as an FO. It probably will not happen in your first few years. When it happens depends on which you fleet you get assigned to, a decision you likely will not be able to make. It is also unlikely you will make that kind of money early on without flying open time trips. We are about to be well staffed so that might not be so easy to do as a new hire.

I don’t say those things to deter anyone. If you do your homework and you want to apply, then best of luck to you. Sincerely!

It wouldn't be shocking to see that this is a lie to get you into the first available class. Before all of this they were on the ropes and parking jets with their manning issues. Please remember that the individual who runs the HR program told the FAA that she had no idea how to read Mesa training records after reading HUNDREDS of them from other Mesa pilots she'd previously hired. Simply put... They're liars.

We were Uber close- it is what it is. Real money has never been made working for the man anyway. My hope was to make a lot here, to separate myself from the man.

No you wouldn't... They'd have drug it out a year and a half, then they'd have literally merged your contract back into the 1980s, and you'd have started next year... And when you started they'd buy Sky Lease or who ever is on the ropes. Then that "Process" would start again.

No CBA progress this week either. The execs were too busy somewhere else telling those few that still pay attention that a CBA is their priority. Forced arbitration and a CBA in another 2 years here we come.

Dont come here and then ***** about the pay, QOL, etc. You will not enjoy the reaction you get.

What is a standard 121 footprint regarding training?
Isn't that company specific rather than a standard?
How many instructors you have, if you have sims in house or not, if you have company designees, what kind of operations you do, I mean if you are a 6 leg a day type of operation with in house sims wouldn't it be quicker than farming out sim training and doing long haul?
The question is very valid!

I'd sure love to find out how you broke $100k first year.
