Which is kinda the whole reason we have agreements? That would be a complete one way street where the airline guys get nothing out of it.

I worked at NetJets for 12.5 years. Great place, great pilots, and I was glad to be there during the decade of sorrow so many of us endured after we all got furloughed (Midway Airlines for me). But Im sorry, they don’t get to ride 135/121 jump-seats just because... especially when they have absolutely nothing to reciprocate with. They can’t even ride on their own company aircraft being ferried with no pax’s.

NetJets purchases airline tickets for EVERY single positioning leg those pilots need. Plus they earn airline status and keep their airline miles for personal use, along with hotel points and status. They have a lot of good benefits.

Just a heads up. Get talking to the Capt to ensure your on the paperwork ASAP. We just had a jumper do ID90 as dictated on the site and did it well before the 3 hr requirement. He was an unknown and our Capt stepped in with the company to discuss. While waiting we directed him to the Atlas sign up site to fill that out as well as a backup. Didn’t really need it I guess. Turns out our folks in NY hand jam the info into their system and they did it only because the Capt called and their were fireworks or should I say napalm was dropped over the phone by both sides for 20 min. If we weren’t delayed he might have not made the paperwork input correctly.... maybe they just missed the request, but check on your own behalf with a human vs electronic confirmation during the app process. Great to have him on board, Capt went the extra mile for the Jumper.

You should get ahold of the jumpseat committee, that’s crazy.

OP:

Any CASS participant may list via ID90; no reciprocity required. Crews will be at the airplane roughly 1 hour 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure (whatever that means), so it is advisable that you arrive at the respective crew facility at least 15 minutes prior to that in an effort to expedite formalities.

Note that if your plans include international travel, you are responsible for any required visa.

You should to be in uniform for intl too. No reciprocity as previously noted. Fed Ex doesn’t let them ride to HK. They’ve been really really good to me on the couple of times I’ve used them.

Help for 947 CVG ANC Tuesday morning 7/23. I listed on ID90 after normal NY business hours today. I gave it some time and called the ops number I have to confirm, but they didn’t have me listed on the flight. Any ideas? Help? Suggestions? Or am I just out of luck on this one?

Thanks!

If your initials are BT, you’re listed as a jumpseater. If not and no luck with ID90 and the ops #, you could show at DHL and I am sure the crew would be more than happy to call dispatch, check CASS and have have you added.

That’s not me, but I appreciate you checking. I was going a day or so early, but not worth the trouble at this point.

From my understanding international jumpseating is now available once again with Atlas. Am looking at jumpseating on the weekly SIN-NRT 747. Anyone familiar with this route have any idea how many jumpseasts are available on the 747, how to get to the aircraft in SIN and if there is a shuttle in NRT from cargo to pax terminal? Thanks for the help!

There are 4 supernumerary seats on the 747 and when you get to NRT we all clear customs and immigration in the pax terminal so no problem there. As for getting to the plane in SIN I would hope they would tell you a meeting area to have a handler get you as we don't do layovers in SIN at the moment. I would book and figure that out in advanced.
