I don't know anything concrete other than Union did hint attrition is a massive problem, pay and schedule are being looked at by the company, 2 a day leaving company wide with 4 leaving in my initial class for UPS in last two weeks. This is combined with company announcing record profits and new opportunities for additional flying, Airbus 350 is definitely something the VP ops was talking about to new hire classes!

With American and United hiring at 95% of those interviewed I think they are getting creative here at Atlas, 7 Australians in my class on sponsored visa's, 4 of which live in Hong Kong and three who live in Australia, and all are planning on staying there, company has not objected, we have been having monthly TDY to Hong Kong so that probably helps them out?

Monthly TDY to Hong Kong? What are you talking about? We don't even overnight there.

lmao.

Well, now that the Minister of Disinformation, Scott Anderson got "retired" someone has got to take over the role of spreading company propaganda to placate the new hires.

Does that mean Atlas will NEVER operate the A350? Absolutely not. But if the B777 is any indication, it should take almost 20 years of ridiculous cheap talk.

I can guarantee you no-one is saying "TDY to Hong Kong every month" anywhere. We don't even overnight there right now.
The A350 thing comes from the last town hall, where they said that they are not saying no to any future airframes.

This right here. However word is that Hong Kong got back to the company about their closed loop layover guidelines, however they are up to the standards to start layovers there yet.

Your skin should be thicker if you are a “Guard” guy. This place doesn’t throw shade anywhere near what my Guard brothers threw before I retired. Hell, they still throw it via text or phone call.
