And just like that it is now 31 for the month. Must be a class at United in just over 2 weeks! Monday is usually the day the resignations come in. Also the number on the IAP2750 website includes those who have told the union - some guys don't and they aren't updated until the next seniority list comes out.

Am I right in believing those numbers include retirements?

The Unions webpage says 'Resignations'. So I would assume not including retirements. Eitherway, retirements make up low single digits a month.

I would totally agree. The reason I ask is when you see ‘x’ resignations in June, during the first week of May. Do guys/gals give notice that far out?

Some give notice when they receive a class date. The craziest I saw at my previous airline was a 3 month notice.

That 3 month notice was in February 2020. Worked out real well for said pilot.

Didn’t realize the MD-80 the original gangsta “Mad Dog” shared it’s name with the Diva, Marriage/Divorce11, plenty of others. Good to know, thanks.

I agree, I’ve never heard the 11 referred to as the Mad Dog. It’s always been associated with the MD-80….

My buddies that fly the MD-11 at FedEx for 10 or more years have always called it the Mad Dog.
