Base and Seniority Progression Information

We are all getting an email explaining we gonna get a 3 week break after systems/SITs. Not too worried on year 3 pay and 74 pay after 120 days so….win/win

The Crew Member assigned a new Position shall receive the new rate of pay effective on the completion date of Operating Experience or one hundred twenty (120) Days after the initial class date, whichever occurs first.

That’s good stuff right there, easy money, easy pay, easy life - definitely a huge upgrade from the past. I’d stay at the home front as long as possible before getting acclimated to long haul flying. Definitely not puddle jumping and not everyone’s holy grail, but plenty of time to solve the world’s problems if not at least forget about them…

The company email said existing flying that currently transits PDX - likely primarily domestic Amazon stuff a la Tampa. Tampa 76 is typically a min guarantee to 70 hrs affair based upon “trip” rig if you wanna fly, although peak season adds to that average and there are always occasional choice lines. Usually 14-17 days on and the occasional layover in base. I think I’ve seen as low as 13 with a couple days layover in base (this is rare and inevitably pays around 64 hrs).
Typically 16-17 days on and a “trip” rig of 75-81 hrs if you bid reserve, with a mix of 1:30 call out (R2, for up to 12 hrs) and airport standby (R3, for 6). Usually pays in the 77-80 range.

Not sure how the new bases are going to run. I'd expect mostly Amazon in the 767 from PDX.
