How long after starting class are people being sent home and how long before they are back in MIA to finish up? Thank you!
Everything is backed up on the widebodies at least. Not sure about the 737 courses.

This isn't really a unique problem with Atlas, I have friends with other carriers that are seeing the same sort of delays.

I’m on the 74, started 7/11 and just had my 2nd of 6 FTDs. 5-7 days in between each FTD session. We are projecting we won’t be completely done with differences until beginning of December. That is based off of the current rate we are going. I’m sure it could speed up a little but not too much because of device / instructor availability.

We were sent home prior to oral for 3.5 weeks. Most people in our class are expecting almost 5 months total.

Overall the company is great, the training bottlenecks were known to me prior to coming so even though it sucks, I signed up for it.

If anyone told you “the worst time at Atlas is the initial training”, believe them, the fun begins when you leave Miami! I’m no cheerleader, but this is a great job.

Thank you, it didn't. It speaks mainly on wide bodies.
Been a few weeks since someone spoke of the 76 classes. Figured I would get a recent update.
Although, was just notified we're in for 6 days and back home for 2 months.

I would imagine that the 767 is also having the issue…

Actually, hearing from the 76 folks- the delays are pretty cumbersome

Just so you know…the 767 IS a widebody. So are the 777 and 747. The 737 is not.

To add to this and directly answer the question: yes the 76 is very backed up. Expect opportunities to go home between Indoc and Systems, then again between Systems and Oral/Sims.
