This is true.

well we are still hiring more than we loose, net gain overall but really unsustainable and the training department is going to implode. Apollo better fix this in the name of efficiency and long term gains

New hires are being sent home for 5-6 weeks during training for lack of sims.
People resigning out of training.
How does that constitute a net gain?

Numbers are numbers, if you check seniority lists every month, there is a net gain. Don’t get me wrong, we ain’t going anywhere doing things like this, and it kinda is fake growth, but…..

The fact that they are telling people that it is about three months of training when in reality is more like 6, is putting a lot of people off. The bottleneck in training is hurting Atlas!

Math don’t lie +1>0
I would call anyone on the line 3 months after completing OE a ‘net gain’.
I’m being generous here.

I’ll update who is still in my class that started with 17 bodies June 21. We are on about a 6 week break from systems to SIMs. As of now due to be back September 10. I’m sure some will be gone.

Leave to where? Why would a 6 week paid holiday with a seniority number, be a bad thing?

HELOWING 08-15-2022 02:42 PM

So both questions above:

Fleet: 767

And who would leave a paid vacation?: not me, I have a young family and my wife appreciates the time with them. We do have “young single bodies” with some good jet time that may leave for a big 5. When you are younger there are different carrots to chase…
