You are correct 767guy. Too early in the morning and percocet, add a little lack of proofreading I guess.

I do. MSC is a worldwide shipper that just happens to be headquartered in Europe. The planes will fly where the goods are, not where headquarters is located. The majority of the worlds goods I believe still come out of China. So hello new 777's to China.

Default Steady, steady....

Steady as she goes Apollo.

Market says you may have dropped the soap. Ignore the hairy gorilla behind you named FDX, he won't hurt you. Just bend over and pick up your bid. We LOVE private equity.

$102.50 is the right price. Nothing else to see here.

Anything is possible of course if you’re in this business. This Apollo business isn’t finalized for quite awhile and FDX stock ain’t exactly killing it like most any of the markets this past month and earlier. Overall leadership has been nonexistent for quite awhile and overall world stage has suffered immensely. It will take a long time to turn this ship around and businesses will become way more efficient, struggle or just fade away. I fear the hairy gorilla optimizer, but it does bring benefits depending on your priorities to be fair.

This has gone over my head.

Is the insinuation that FedEx is looking at acquiring Atlas?

The insinuation is that the recent FDX stock price crash is a harbinger of things to come to the rest of the logistics industry in general. And maybe Apollo was looking at Atlas through COVID colored glasses.

Atlas and Fedex have two different business plans with Atlas being more adaptable.

Companies like UPS and DHL seem to be faring even better...so is it industry wide?

On that note, is it just one worldwide delivery company that’s held it’s (at least domestic) drivers at arms length through 1099 status for years (with resultant operational impacts due to the ‘separate company’ aspect they have to maintain) suffering the predictable effects of that strategy in an environment where labor is scare and commands a premium?

If we're staying on topic, let's see what Apollo thinks.
