Southern Air hiring

Anyone have any news concerning the hiring plans at Southern. I have an internal recommendation there and was wondering what the time frame for an interview is?

So do I...
There are Southern guys on here that can confirm this or not, but Ive heard they had a class or have one running right now. All people in class are or were 747 drivers at one point. Dont know about any future classes will post if I hear anything.

Southern is hiring. They do have a class going right now. Not all of the new-hires have B747 experience. I believe they will be hiring for some time to come.

I have an internal rec, 9000 hrs but no heavy jet time. I'm also very hopeful for an interview. Does anyone know how the interview process works. Or if a phone call would help.

Thanks

Industry downturns are a funny thing. SA is supposed to be the place where you go to get 747 experience not the other way around. I know someone there that got on a while back with just a few thousand of SIC jet.
