I don't think anyone on here truly knows. ????????

Just curious what was asked of you during the phone interview?

Wish I had an answer for you. I'm not sure anybody knows what it means if you get to take the test and pass but don't get a phone call within a few days to interview, much less your situation.

Atlas and Pilot Fatigue

Pilot-Fatigue Amendment May Complicate FAA Bill - WSJ.com

Interesting article pertaining to pilot fatigue and nonsched carriers (Atlas, Evergreen, etc.) ALPA has denied the proposed amendment. Curious to know what the teamsters' stance is. If anyone can shed some light from the line that would be great.

Thanks,

~Slim

So guys, I just took my technical this morning. Scored the enfamous 66% with the end result saying 'PASSED.' Any word on what to expect now? If called to interview, are we expected to 'find' our way to Miami? Or does Atlas help out with the travel accomodations (minus the hotel)?

Any info on the next step would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers-

Congrats on passing the technical! You're gonna have to find your own way to MIA.

Regarding the post interview phase, I did hear that hearing nothing right after the interview is a good thing. The thumbs down letters go out fairly quickly from what I've been told.

Hiring sounds unbelievably huge right now. They are talking about class after class after class after class. Pretty exciting time to be here me thinks....

Are there any airlines/hotels that would make the process smoother? i.e. shuttle to/from airport and to/from Atlas' campus?

I know I'm jumping the gun.. hope I don't jinx myself. Just wondering aloud. Don't blame me for being optimistic. These days, optimism goes a long way! It's easy to focus on being realistic! :)

I'd recommend the Marriott complex... I think they call it Miami Airport South. There are three hotels there... a Marriott, a Residence, and I think a Courtyard. They have shuttle service to the place the interview will be but I can't remember if it goes early enough. There is one that leaves at 7:10 am gets you there at 7:30 I think....

Not necessarily My interview group got pool letters and "thanks for playing" letters on the same day. Unfortunately, I was in the latter group.
