Like Driver said, if being gone 15, 16, 17, even 18 or 19 days with the commute before and after, if that is going to be problem for you, you ARE NOT going to be happy here. So for some people being off 10-14 days in row makes up for it. Some folks just can't handle it. There were a bunch of new hire slots in ANC on the 400 in the last vacancy award. I could hold ANC as a Captain but it's not even on my wish list due to the painful commute.

Give me a break. 17, 18, or 19 days is a problem for EVERYBODY.

No one likes being gone that long.

Great Lakes, see above, just signed a flow through agreement with Frontier. When you interview at GL, you also interview at Frontier. If hired at both, you flow to Frontier after 1000 PIC turbine. (Note: This is similar to the Commutair flow through to UAL).

Does Great Lakes also want to do a flow through to Atlas?

In the past year, in MIA, the Tng Center personnel told us they were working on a flow through with Air Wisconsin. We have heard of no agreement with Air Wisconsin.

Hiring update. From DE this morning at MIA Trn Ctr, continued class every 3 weeks until the end of the year. Next 747 upgrade class, he thought, June bid. Class sizes scaled down a bit to around 14 due to OE backlog.

If you are interested there it is!!

Do you know if Atlas will be at any job fairs soon? Trying to figure out how to get noticed, as I don't have any internals.
For what it's worth; I'm around 4,000 TT, 2,000 in the 121 world, 3 types, fresh captain upgrade with just under 200 hours turbine PIC. Shortcoming would be I'm 18 credits short of a degree.

A word to the wise: DO NOT leave your regional until you have the competitive TPIC time you would need to go elsewhere. If you get suckered in before at least 1,000 TPIC, they will have you hooked with no escape...and you will desire escape. Stay put, build your PIC, you can thank me later
