No, upgrade times are not that low, and haven’t been for a while. Hard to tell for sure at this point, but expect 5-6 years for left seat on a wide body. Maybe 3ish years for the 737?
Is fleet assigned in class or prior to class? I'd only be interested in 74 or 77 (int'l flying), which is why I ask to avoid wasting everyone's time.

Is it correct those fleets are fairly easy to both get OT on and with the rig most schedules are credited to 100?

you’ll be assigned the Fleet prior to class. Unless you live in base, don’t count on being able to pick up. As it picked up by the MIA mafia, and senior folks. ASAP trips get picked up from folks who are in base.

You have a better chance to Out base. As for crediting 100 plus, it’s not hard to do with Article 33 flying. However, I have only seen 100 plus twice, but Article 33 has pushed me into the 80s and 90s consistently.

It seems to me you are trying to financially plan based on Open Time flying. Don't base you finances on it or Article 33. At any given point they can both go away. I went years occasionally looking for an Open Time trip when nothing was going on at home. I was very senior in base and still got nothing. Article 33 will go away sooner than later at this point I think.

Article 33 won’t go away as it is contractually. However, the places that qualify for Article 33 will eventually drop off the list.

I concur with this, plan for MMG and be grateful for being above Guarantee at the end of the month is the way to go.

That is what I was referring to. Just didn't feel I needed to spell that out.

Hi every one.

Being a non-us citizen, got following email:

“Thank you for your recent application. We are excited that you have expressed interest in Atlas Air. We are a global leader in outsourced aviation providing cargo, charter, leasing, and passenger operations. We move the world forward, bringing over 25 years of expertise to our industries.

Within your application you have indicated that you do not currently have work authorization to gain employment in the US. In order that we can continue your application please can you complete 3 brief questions in the form linked here at https://forms.office.com/r/ so that we can ensure we provide the best support to you throughout your application with us,

Many thanks and Best Regards

HUMAN RESOURCES”

Any idea if Atlas started to hire non-US citizens? Also does anyone make a guess what would be the next step for the process after this email?

Thank you.

RyeMex & CRJJ - You both don’t happen to be on your tech across from each other at the same table? Impressive parallel universe or multiverse. At least CRJJ included you RyeMex with “we”.
