latest interview

I was in this last week. Great experience, all of the gouge is spot on. They said phone calls or letters will go out in about 2 weeks but, the holidays might delay it a little. No word on the next class date. If you get the interview, be honest, be yourself. They've already decided you have the experience they want by the time you get to the face to face part, like many others posted they want to see if you can make it on the road for long periods of time without the rest of the crew killing you. IMHO

Or you (generic "you", please take it as such!!) killing the rest of the crew!!

I was in last week as well, and it followed the format spoken of by others. If anyone really want's the rundown PM me and I'll send out a blastmail. Everyone very pleasant, no bad cops for me at least. Seemed genuinely interested in finding out weather I’d be a good fit. I was at ease during the whole process and feel it went really well. They mentioned the stats of 8000 resumes accepted since March, 1000 actually read, and called/tested/interviewed enough to hire 85ish. My personal situation is 5500TT, 3000 PIC TURB (all EMB-145), and one internal rec (Atlas jumpseater from last summer that sent my resume in is all). All 11 of us in the interview were real random (Military, Heavy Cargo, Regional CA and FO, Emirates guy). Oh, I do have 2 hrs in the -400 sim at the United training center. I’m sure that was the kicker! JK:) Good luck to all, I hope I get the opportunity to go work for them. If not, I guess it wasn't meant to be. Merry Christmas everybody!

I've met quit a few of the FNG's on the line and they are the top of the line. The check captains have nothing but good things to say. Bottom line, the current hiring process is working. Bad news, Atlas has already lost guys to Jet Blue, SW, and others.

Most of us, that have been here awhile, keep commenting on how we couldn't get hired thru the current process! Lots of rumors for the new year.

Any rumors on whether trip length will be reduced with the new contract? Or will the company still keep guys out for 17 (extendable to 21)

We have no firm info on the new contract, just rumors. Looks like 17 days, extendable to 20, but with trip rigs, which will make 17 days around 82 hours of pay, and extended days A LOT more expensive. Time will tell.

Yes, for some (most). Depends what line you are awarded. PBS going away for these exact reasons.
