Polar Strike?
 

Anyone know what's happening with the Polar crews? I've heard a few rumors. One, that they will strike next month, also that there's been a meeting recently with the mec trying for a new deal. The disturbing one was that Atlas holdings wants them to stike and will dump them, sell some planes and fly the others under Atlas.

No idea what the plans are, but remember that Atlas opened the Stanstead base with the intent of whipsawing US Atlas pilots against European pilots during ALPA certification here in the US. Polar will certainly be used and treated similarly by that management. Atlas pilot's will be key to what happens at Polar IMO.

If what you say is true, I wonder if UPS is standing by to purchase the Aircraft?

I thought UPS was going away from 747's. Kalitta has been buying some of there 747's.
