The next question to ask yourself is that is the flight legal under FAR 91. The FAA has been cracking down on tail end part 91 legs, at least at my FAR 121 company. Remember, the company can't be receiving any compensation. Just because the plane is empty doesn't always mean that they're not getting paid to fly the plane.
