Dui
If you get a DUI and are employed by an airline and they suspend your license to drive a vehicle can you still fly with a valid US Govt issused ID (passport)?

Good luck |
Thanks for the info. Do you know of any pilots of whom have faced a similar situation? If so how did they handle it?

I think having your license suspended only takes away your right to drive. I would guess your need to have a drivers license to fly has to do with picture ID and not the right to drive.

Many states do not have the deal of to and from work. I live in NH and that is not an option.
I disagree with the ability to still get to and from work while driving yourself after a DUI. Probably should have thought of that before you drove drunk. Hire a driver, it should be a complete and utter hardship since you decided to risk the lives of the innocent around you. This country is soft..just look at some of the freedoms our prisoners are allowed. |
