RATP Bachelor's Degree with <60 Credits
Hello everyone,
My question basically amounts to: Can I do anything about this (write to the FAA to get some form of approval).
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation from an accredited institution. However, I completed the degree with less than 60 "Approved Aviation Credits". I have the paperwork allowing me to qualify for a RATP at 1250 hours. Is there a way for me to argue that since I have a Bachelor's Degree I could qualify for a RATP at 1000?
Would this be a battle lost from the start?
Thank you.

I doubt you could argue anything since the eligibility requires are...
1. BS Degree AND
2. 60 Aviation Credits AND
3. 1000 hours
You're missing one. You could apply for a waiver, but unless there's a precedent for that your odds of success would be low and you could probably get the additional 250 hours in a lot less time than it would take for a waiver to go through.
