Default AA & UAL investing billions in pilotless VTOL

They're saying pilotless eVTOL by the end of this decade.

My favorite quote from this article:

"Startups and aerospace giants are still deciding on how they'll get the public to accept the new technology."

if there is one thing I have learned from start-ups, they mostly go bust. Or it’s never the timeline they give.

I just don’t see how it can be economical or practical to fly 2 people from ABI to DFW...it’s all for show.

I think the real question is whether or not the VTOL will also be an SST?

Also, green. Plus carbon neutral. Maybe solar powered? Yeah, that would be nice. Built with recyclables.

Read the article. Neither airline has invested a penny on this pipe dream.

“And for those on the ground, they'll barely notice the aircraft shuttling passengers above.

"These things, when they take off, the design target is as quiet as your dishwasher at home," Fymat said. "And then when they're flying overhead, you don't hear them."

ha…haha…hahahhahahahhahhahhahah. Bless your heart.

That's right. Electric motors are quiet, propellers are not.
