No New Boeing Aircraft this Decade
Per Dave Calhoun, looks like mid 2030's.
Normally this would make no sense, and would be tantamount to exiting the commercial market. But given the need for drastic improvements in carbon emissions, it may make sense to wait for developing technologies to mature, and see where alternative fuel markets are headed (SAF vs hydrogen) before committing vast R&D resources.
