This is an aviation company but it also has plans for electric road vehicles to use their batteries. Charge time from 0-80% is under 6 minutes. Electric cars with this battery could do 0-60 in 1.5 seconds:

This is company 1027 to announce a miracle battery. Strangely not one has brought a usable product to market.

Exactly. I have a reservation for a Chevy Blazer EV that should arrive this fall but I'm going to cancel it. First, I'm not driving enough to justify a $60K vehicle, and second I think in a few years we will have much better batteries with 500+ mile range. The Blazer has a little over 300 miles.
Some company in the upper midwest retrofitted their battery on some model of Tesla and drove it 720 miles before it died.
