Default Telex 850 for sale

I’ve got a year old Telex 850 for sale if anyone is interested. It’s a super lightweight and clear set with ANR built in, so as soon as it’s plugged into the aircraft, it’s active, no need for batteries. I’m stepping away from flying and would love to pass it down to someone just getting into the game.

Do most PSA aircraft have headsets or are we required to have our own?

They all have headsets in them. Either the Telex and/or David Clark’s. I just never was keen on the idea of sucking on the boom of a worn out headset that 5,000 people use. The boom cover can be replaced on a used headset easier and cheaper than some disease you may or may not contract from mouth breathers...

Also have epaulettes and ties, as well as AA belt. Also the pants and jacket, as well as the overcoat. FO stuff. Pants are 30x30, and jackets are 38R. Gently used and dry cleaned. Overcoat is medium, worn maybe one trip.

You need your own TSO'd headset unless you want to use the David Clarks/Telex in the aircraft that's got everybody's germs on it. Don't do it, man!

Would a David Clark H10-60 be sufficient? From what I read it's TSO Certified. I've had it forever but it works like a champ. I also have a Bose Aviation X but it's configured with the U174 Plug, not a GA type plug.
