IOS app for jetbridge gate codes.
I made an app called GateMate Pro after getting tired of digging through my Notes app to find gate codes. It was super annoying trying to scroll through a big list while pulling up to a gate. So I built this to fix that. It lets you save gate codes by location, and when you’re near one, the right code just pops up. Super quick, no more searching.
Everything is stored locally on your phone, and the actual gate codes are locked behind Face ID or passcode using Apple’s Keychain. Nothing is shared, nothing is synced online. I kept it this way on purpose — a shared database would be a security risk, and this stuff should stay private. If you fly a lot and deal with gate codes, check it out and let me know what you think. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gatemate-pro/id6743330098 Would love feedback or feature ideas |

I like the idea - great job! I agree $2/month for something that is already readily available is more than I am willing to pay. Maybe a one time subscription for $25 or something like that.
One feature that would make it better would be if I could see it on my Apple Watch for when I forget my phone in my flight bag while doing a pre-flight walk. It would be nice to have an Apple Watch complication.

Not worth $2, build it yourself

Thanks for the feedback, I hear you loud and clear on the subscription pricing. I’ve switched it to a one-time $9.99 purchase with no recurring fees. Also working on an Apple Watch companion based on your suggestions. Appreciate the support!

question for you, what about when you tried to open the door 🚪 and the code change, you asked the gate agent, they give it to you…. Can you update that code from your app? And it will sync to tne system app? So if another pilot comes after you, they already have the correct code?
