So.... Breeze has 25 airplanes and handles the 2024 IT meltdown with relative ease (mostly because we're cheap and borderline do things by hand anyway).... Que the "Delta couldn't even do that" comment on the upcoming pilot call. I'm willing to place a wager that its said within the first 6 minutes. Anybody? How about a parlay? 12 minutes before someone in management says Delta couldn't recover because of ALPA :D

Dude why don't you just quit. Jesus H Christ, if it fails, at least you'll get out clean with a basket of "I told- you-sos." Freaking hate people like you.

I think he is just poking fun at how management turns anything into a false positive week after week on our pilot meeting

1. Breath.

2. I can't quit right now.

3. Breeze has fantastic therapy insurance.

Relax brother (or sister).

Thank you. Also, I was wrong. Nobody on the call said those things. I lost my own bet.

In other news I loved our email from Management thanking us for getting all 28 flights out at D-0 today

Well that was sudden and unexpected….

Agreed. TD was a golden child. I think DN specifically hired him to be his replacement. That being said.... you don't just up and leave a job when you are CEO-elect. His reasoning is to spend more time with family.... well im pretty sure that moving to Utah (he went to BYU) with his family and working down the street as the president of the company is the most family time he's ever had as it is. I don't buy that reasoning. Next to DN, he knows the most about the inner working of this company. Coupled with the Jetblue announcements this week of overlapping some of our routes and the desparate need for consolidation in the industry (Jetblue being the most desparate next to Spirit), I think his reasoning is obvious.... He doesn't want to move to NY and be an executive at Jetblue.

Also, consider this. He probably has more skin in the game at Breeze than anybody beside DN... why would you leave that? Why not just ride it out to the end? He knows how this announcement will affect the employee moral, and whatever was coming next did not deter him from making the decision to leave early.

Then again, management didn't blame the IT meltdown on ALPA so... I could be wrong :D

I believe that was one of the first things to go away when they went union.

This is still the policy post-unionization.

Right, that part didn’t make a lot of sense. Definitely something else going on unless he’s actually really burnt out
