121.....do I need it?
I can't seem to get the call....but they haven't said no
3 biz jet types and 2 TP types
1600 tpic in TPs and 50 in jets
6800 tt
I attended 3 job fairs last year...my time with United was outstanding. I have had two well known interview prep companies run through my apps...so they should be pretty solid.
My current job is right seat at a fractional....and will be right seat for a very very long time.
I feel like I am competitive but that isn't matching up with the reality of the crickets I keep hearing.
My thinking is to leave my amazing quality of life at my current job and heading over to a regional. I really think the lack of the 121 check box is hindering my advancement.
Thoughts?

You need more jet TPIC (assuming clean record + college degree). Checking the 121 box never hurts, but I think jet PIC is the big issue here. Will you get more & faster at a regional?

Jet tpic would be a decade faster at a regional assuming the music doesn't stop.

Your turbine pic is at the minimum needed, but not insurmountable. 4 year degree with decent gpa? Clean driving/criminal record? What about slot in the training department at your fractional, even as an F/O. Look at position within the union or company in scheduling, safety, etc. The majors like pilot candidates who do more that sit in the cockpit seat. You need to stand out. An RJ street captain slot or transition to Spirit/Allegiant/Atlas might be something to consider if you think you have hit a wall. Good luck!

As an FO there is zero opportunity to do anything other than fly ..... the union idea is good....I will look into that.
