7 years off, getting ready to return

To make a long story short, I have been out of aviation for the last 7 years.
I have about 6000 hours, ATP, a sa-227 type, with lots of time in planes ranging from caravans, Cessna 404's, sa-226/sa-227 (Merlin IV/metro 3) and pc-12. I have flown both cargo, under 135, and passengers under 91k.
Here is the question...
Shortly I will be spending some $$ on getting current, along with some simulator time with National flight simulator in Manchester NH.
Next step is to decide the best course of action, job wise?

Have been thinking maybe Wiggins Airways or Ameriflight are possible, but maybe a commuter out of Boston.
Any suggestions?

Well what are you wanting? full airline or 135 ops or what? Also how old are you? Family? etc...

Don't bother with the simulator time. Go get a FR and an IPC at your local FBO, then most of the 121 regionals will probably send a limo to pick you up for both the interview and your first day of class.

Seriously, it is a pilot's market out there, and with an ATP you can probably have your choice of regional airlines so long as you reasonably prep for the interviews.
