New to aviation

Good afternoon all,

I am new to the forum and I've been reading different tops on this forum for the last couple of days and yet I still have some doubts about changing jobs. I'm a psychologist working in market research and despite me enjoying my job, I am very passionate towards aviation. I recently went to an airschool where I live and I got to sit in a small piper; I can truly say I felt identified being there. I know I maybe jumping the gun here making decisions on emotional responses, but I am interested in going into aviation to become a pilot.

With that being said, being 25 years old, how hard would it be for me to get into the field keeping in mind I need to do a lot of hours to even get anywhere close to a corporate or regional job.

I also want to know if I, a foreigner, can work and live in another country as a pilot. Unlike other jobs where one can apply for a work visa and have to stay in the country for a certain amount of time, how possible is it for a pilot to be able to do that? Is it possible for a pilot to work in a foreign airline and become a resident or citizen of said country?

My plan was to go towards my Masters as a backup plan, work for a bit and then get into aviation but I would like to know everyones opinion that as well.

Thank you very much!:D
