Should I get my PPL ?
Hi everyone ! I am new here and I would like your help about something that bothers me. Like most of you here, aviation is my passion since I am a kid ( now im 30 ). My childhood's dream was to become a fighter pilot in the Air force but had to give up on it due to vision problems. I never wanted to become an airliner pilot.
Since then, I always wanted to get my PPL but something holding me back, like I am not sure If I would enjoy piloting. Now I have doubts about getting my licence, would it be a waste of time, if at the end of the day I don't enjoy piloting ?
I still love aviation, will always do ...
Thanks a lot for your time and help

Prospective students normally start with a "Discovery Flight" which is more of a demo, with a little but of training. So it's more of a fun experience than anything else, but you get to sit at, and operate, the controls with an instructor in the other seat. These flights are usually discounted compared to normal training flights, so you might as well give it a try. If you like it, keep coming back for more lessons as long as you're having fun.

There's no up front commitment. I had a few students solo then stop flying. Some do a flight or two and realize it's not for them. Go take an intro flight and see if you like it. Shouldn' t be more than $100-150.
