2018 NGPA Industry Expo

Registration for the 2018 NGPA Industry Expo is NOW OPEN!

Date: Friday February 9, 2018
Where: Renaissance Palm Springs Resort- Palm Springs, California

As airlines are changing their hiring practices as we are now in a "Pilots Market," we here at the NGPA have also adapted our Industry Expo to meet the greater needs of the aviation community at large. We have added a ton of new interesting content and keynote addresses that will interest everyone from the General Aviation Pilot, to the Corporate/Business Pilot, to the Part 121 Professional Pilots and everyone in between.

Our Keynotes Presentations during the Industry Expo include:

Col. William “Doug” Hall is the Director, Congressional and Interagency Affairs, U.S. Transportation Command, Washington D.C. office. He serves as the principle liaison between the U.S. Transportation Command commander and members of Congress as well as multiple military and government organizations throughout the National Capital Region. He has over 20 years of service and has flown the MC-130, the C-141, the C-5, and the C-17.

Flight attendant Doreen Welsh had only 90 seconds to focus on survival skills before US Airways Flight 1549 crash-landed into New York's Hudson River in 2010. Join Doreen as she takes participants on the emotional journey of that fateful day which became known as The Miracle on the Hudson.

On September 11, 2001, air traffic controllers accomplished the massive task of clearing the skies in a matter of minutes when United States airspace was completely closed. There are many accounts from that infamous day; this is an exclusive opportunity to listen to retired controllers Peter Zalewski and Tom Morin give first-hand accounts of how the situation unfolded from the inside out.

In addition to the above keynotes, there will be multiple breakout sessions sponsored by the NGPA, highlighting a slew of topics through the LGBTQ aviation community and beyond.

Also, Airlines will be on hand actively recruiting candidates for jobs across their business. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines will be holding multiple Job Hiring Information sessions throughout the day related to their Pilot Hiring prospects. At the end of those presentations, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines will be collecting resume's from Pilot's for consideration in their recruiting process.

**NO FastPass program will be utilized at this years Expo**

We here at the NGPA understand that job fair type events can be very expensive. That is why for the past 4 years we have been hosting this event, we have done our absolute best to keep costs to a minimum. This year is no different as we offer this action packed day for a fraction of the cost of the other major job fairs out there.

2018 Registration Cost: $50

Your registration includes access to all presentations, keynotes and exhibitors. LUNCH is also included in your ticket!

NGPA Expo 01-17-2018 09:39 AM

Just 25 days until the 2018 NGPA Industry Expo in Palm Springs, California!

Only 100 tickets left. Get yours before they sell out!

FastPass programs as you all have known them are a thing of the past for most future job fairs. Although you won't have a set time to meet with a recruiter from your airlines of choice, all of these airline recruiters will still be on site at our Expo and are eager to speak with you.

We have limited our ticket sales this year to ensure the ballrooms are not packed, lines are not long and the experience is a positive one for those whom choose to attend.

Delta Air Lines and United Airlines will be collecting resume's from those whom attend their job hiring briefings. 4 hiring briefings will be offered by both Delta & United.

We have added a slew of incredible content to this years Industry Expo to increase the value of your attendance. See our previous post above for more information.

You cant beat our value! At only $50 a ticket, we are by far the most inexpensive job fair of our kind. Why pay hundreds of dollars elsewhere for the same experience.

The NGPA is a fully volunteer run organization here to help promote Diversity & Inclusion throughout the aviation community. We wish nothing but the best to our attendee's and hope they all enjoy the hard work we put into this flagship event.

We hope to see you in the desert next month!
