Getting back in the cockpit

I was employed overseas and came back to the states in Oct due to some unforeseen events (non-related pilot performance). I'm trying to gain employment overseas but, I'm a bit concern my currency may be an issue since my last flight was in Oct 2017. Although, my last LPC is still valid (til Oct 2018), I'm wondering being unemployed may become an obstacle.

What is the likelihood of finding employment in the states with my qualifications. Given all the talk of a pilot shortage talk, I'm looking to get back in the cockpit fairly quickly.

Type: A320, CRJ, J41
TT: 12,500
T-PIC: 2000
Last flight: Oct 2017

(my apologies for the double posting..I posted this question in the regional section by accident)

this Tony?

Hey is this Tony? If so, I thought you were flying for some airline in Africa, then when you went to somewhere in the ME?
