Switching regional companies
I work for one regional airline but will be having to commute for the job. Can’t afford to pay for crash pad for more than five months. That will put me at just over a year with the company. They are giving bonuses to be there for the first year. Does it look bad to other future companies if I switch airlines after the year or even before it laterally to another regional where I can be based where I live?

But if you have a sustained pattern of switching companies, then majors will be concerned.

Make sure your next company is a keeper for a bit.

Do what's best for you. There are LCA with multiple internal recommendations, thousands of TPIC 121 time, with their degree(s) who can't get calls from the majors. Making decisions based on what the majors want is tricky because no one really knows what the **** majors want.
Do what's best for you and your QOL. Someone already said this, but do your research and make sure the next company is somewhere you wanna be for a while.
