See and avoid still works.

Citation on final? See it, and avoid. Airmanship 101.

Because it’s so easy for a new pilot to distinguish a Lear from a Citation three miles away while trying to maintain traffic pattern altitude, airspeed, rpm....

Sounds like that one could have happened to most pilots at that stage.

I like how some people like to come here and boost their own ego.

It already happened and you can't change that...just build your time and apply. Prepare for the interview and that's it.

Btw, how was your examiner in DAB? I'm pretty sure I know him and he is an ******* trying to collect your money, however that's not what you say at an interview

Why, I remember years ago...I had this Instructor who was all hung up about that "Rudder" thing. " "Stick AND Rudder!" he kept shouting. And something about a "Ball". (?)

Next, I got a CFI that wanted me to fly "Straight AND Level"..at the same time! And then I saw some clouds and just fell apart.

Most CFI's are pretty good, but they need SOMETHING to work with.

I would highly recommend (and, others may be thinking ) that with your current lack of understanding of your own situation and it's relationship to a career and/or safety of flight, that you discontinue flying all together.

I am not saying that to be mean. Your post indicates an inherent lack of the required skills to be a pilot. Additionally, there is currently NO WAY you will pass an interview with any respectable operation...and, an disreputable outfit that MIGHT hire you is a good way to get yourself and, unfortunately, others killed.

Sorry.

Just The Facts. ( IMHO )

Because it's so easy to look for traffic, then look beyond and see other traffic.

Not just a good idea. It's the law.

Midair collisions happen because of failure to see and avoid.

See and avoid applies equally to student pilots and professionals. A mid-air collision won't discriminate, hence the reason for the law.

You're not unlucky. If your story is true, you're not cut out for any kind of flying, never mind commercial. I'm amazed you're instructing.

You have taken zero responsibility for any of your mistakes and shortcomings. That alone shows an unacceptable lack of airmanship. Your stories punctuate that lack.

You didn't fail checkrides because of bad luck or mean check pilots; you were unprepared or you just don't have the aptitude.

Your username makes me think you might actually be a troll.

Not if he blames his starvation on angry, agenda-driven fish.

The hook in his finger will be the fault of the boat.

He will get wet because water doesnt like him.

The big one will get away, at least five times, because he caught it properly the first time, but the fish will demand a do-over.
