Default Interview Suits

Any thoughts on dark grey or blue suit with darker burgundy shoes and belt? Or stick with the boring but tried and true black shoes and belt.

Boring.....you’re interviewing for a job where you wear a uniform....no points for style

For my aviation interviews, I have worn a black suit with either a simple red or blue tie and black shoes. Carried a nice dark brown leather bag for logbooks and documents. Every other pilot in there with me wore either black or blue. I do not think I would be more adventurous than that.

If interviewing with a regional, save the $, wear cargo shorts and a tee shirt.

If interviewing with Virgin America or Northwest Airlines, you can get a little creative and go for some style points.

Otherwise what the other guys said.

Default No guts, no glory...

After interviewing hundreds, even thousands, you'll be the one they will ALWAYS remember.

Where is the picture of the guy who wore boxers and no pants to his Southwest interview, along with the tie, suit jacket, socks, and dress shoes ? Doh !

Buy two, one navy blue, one medium gray. White shirts mandatory with the navy blue; you can go blue oxford cloth button down shirts on the gray or stay with white shirt. Black shoes, period.
