What to do?!?
Hey Everyone,
I’m mulling over my options right now and wanted to see what some people who are at the majors think about what the next best step would be in my position. I have the opportunity to move over to a 737 as an sic for a private company full pic type averages about 600hrs a year. My other option is a PIC position on a challenger 350 again company providing full pic type averages around the same hours per year. My question is, what is going to get me to the legacy’s/majors fastest (if ever). What are they going to like to see on my resume more? Pic turbine in a mid size Business jet, or a 73 type and time in type. Thanks for the responses in advance. |

The type of operation, and PIC, is more important than the type of aircraft, assuming jets.
Less than 30K GTOW might score lower, but I think you're good either way on that. |
