Default Northwest Aviation Conference ?

I have several high school students, juniors & seniors, interested in attending the NW Conference & Trade Show this February.
This is not an event I have attended so would appreciate some in put from past attendees as to whether this is conference would be good experience for students who are planning a career in aviation.
Although the attendance fee are cheap, we still have to consider airfare, lodging, meals, etc.
If we can only attend one event in 2019 would you recommend NW Aviation Conference?

Where is the airfare from?

Seriously, it isn't huge but typically a fair number of regional's will have people there but typically only Alaska from the mainline since they sort of like to hire locals from the PNW. And sometimes even they won't show.

The conference typically offers some decent career advice programs though that would be appropriate for interested high schoolers.

It sort of depends on how much this is going to cost you but if you can squeeze in a day at the Air Museum at BFI that would be very motivational as well.

If your area is served by Alaska, you might try calling up their PR people and seeing if they'll cut you a group deal on airfare - perhaps in exchange for a picture or two for their inflight magazine. You might be able to get them - or Boeing - to even kick in for the hotel space.

Stranger things have happened.
