Default Right seat turbine time needed So Cal area

Hello all and thank you for reading my first post.

I used to fly twin beech 18s in Hawaii. I have 2500 total time and 250 multi and my comm multi eng instrument ratings. I have not flown in many years. I have no turbine time. I live near sna and lgb in So Cal, I have a degree. I am 52 years young retired with a very flexible schedule. I would like to be FO in a corporate jet in 2 years.

I am looking for rt seat time in my area? I also have my captains license and can fish and cook and make a killer cocktail (haha)! If there's anyone with a plane and a boat I could be very helpful.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

Opportunities like that are probably too rare to be shared

Yeahhh you may be correct. Being part of the So Cal light tackle marlin fishing scene there are a few guys that shuttle between here and Cabo and mainland Mexico in their King Airs or smaller jets. I just need to find them. Thanks for the comeback.

You’re looking for a job, not “some right seat time”. Ameriflight for a year would work. Cali-based, turbine and much like Beech 18 operations.

Damn correct you are Sir! I guess Iam looking for a job. I remember I was the chief pilot for Skydive Hawaii in the early 90's and young low time pilots offered to fly for free. I was not ever going down that route I never let the owner know that guys were willing to fly for free. I paid every one of them!

Thank you I will check them out. Appreciate the feedback!

Might want to get your ATP to get current again and be marketable. Now is a great time to be a pilot, best I've seen in my career.
Flew skydivers at Dillingham and freight in the Twin Beech as well.
Good Luck.
