First of all , I identify as a snowflake, and I will admit the truth:
It is nowadays much easier for a female pilot to get hired than it is for a male.
Having gotten that admission of my my flat chest, if you look at the pilots getting hired, over 95% are still white male, so if not a single minority was hired your chance would go up a whopping 5%. You shouldn't care because it hardly affects you.

It’s such bull****. Good, qualified pilots, many with zero 121 busts have lost out on a lot of seniority because of these hiring practices. The best person for the job is not what HR is interested in. Yes, there’s a ton of flying and a lot of hiring going on right now, big deal. I wonder how many could be sitting left seat at airline number 1 right now but aren’t because the training pipeline is clogged with “special” people.
