FlightSafety Commercial (CFI) Path
Hello everyone!
I received an interview date for the FlightSafety Commercial Pilot Path way. I have my Commercial ASEL and FS would pay for my Commercial Multi, CFI, CFII and MEI, in exchange for a 24-27 month instructor contract. I'm curious if anyone has done the Commercial path? I know many have done the CFI path and connected with a couple people already. Getting different feedback from everyone and I think it has changed, or maybe the interview is different for the Commercial Path. Looking mainly for people that recently went through the Interview. My questions are: - Is there a written test still? Some say that they just recently stopped doing it. But not sure if that is true. If there is STILL a Written: how did you guys prepare? From what question database(s) are they drawing the questions? - How long after starting the cadet program have you started instructing? - What is an average number of hours you instruct per month? - Do you have any additional tips for the Interview process? Thank you all! |
I don’t have all the specifics of your question.
I do know a guy who was recently an instructor at Flight Safety. He decided to get his CFI rating at a school before going to Flight Safety. Some may depend on $$ available, going elsewhere. Once you get qualified as a CFI you rack up hours at a good rate. |
Just sent you a pm...
