Transitioning from an ERJ to a 737 or A319?

Just curious as to how difficult it is to transition from an ERJ-145 to a 737 or A319?

73 is just an airplane, but the cockpit is very busy and "switch intensive"... in order to retain the original type Boeing has kept the 73 firmly rooted in 1965. If the ERJ is anything like a brasilia you'll feel right at home.

Bus is a whole new philosophy. You either need to be very smart or have a good training dept that knows how to teach bus to normal pilots. Otherwise it will suck to learn. But once you learn it, it's very easy to fly, there's a reason it's senior to the 73 at most dual-fleet operators.

It's much easier to eat a meal on the Airbus. From what others have told me, the E175 is easier than the Airbus. I'm not sure on the 135/145.

Boeing its a real plane...
Airbus is easier to fly, but the manuals are very tricky and written by lawyers

Weeks 1 and 2 of systems and procedures on the bus make it seem like you will never understand the jet no matter the timeline. Weeks 3-6 something clicks and by the end you’re bored and wishing training would end already.
