FAPA pilot forum...what to expect?
Planning to head to the FAPA pilot forum in Orlando this April, just wondering what to expect from the event? What's the usual itinerary for the 4 hours there, info they provide, what (if any) airlines show up, etc. I'm planning to start my training (PPL) in August, I have my school/financing taken care of (mostly), and figured it's never too early to start networking (if I really can at this event?). Thanks in advance.

Tables with pilot recruiters. Lines at most of the tables. Wait long enough and you’ll have a 1 on 1 conversation with a recruiter or HR person.
You’ll find a mix of 121 (usually regionals), 135, and fractionals. FAPA usually posts a list of those companies who have committed to being there. It looks like for MCO in April, they have the following list so far:
Air Wisconsin
Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc.
Recruiting for B-747 and B-767 positions.
Delta Private Jets
Offering onsite interviews. Hiring age 65+.
Gama Aviation
Onsite interviews and offers. Hiring into several bases and aircraft. Hiring age 65+.
GoJet Airlines
Onsite interviews available. Minimums: Private Pilot license with an instrument rating. RATP/ATP minimums for First Officer positions. Hiring direct entry captains.
Republic Airways
Hiring: RJet Cadet Program (3 Tracks based on Time and Ratings), Qualified F.O.'s.
Sun Country
TransStates Airlines
