Default Professional Pilots of Tomorrow website

I'm still doing research trying to help my Grandson on his aviation education. I stumbled across this website ( https://www.theppot.org ) and wonder if anyone can give me some insight as to its worth. I tend to be suspicious of free stuff and this is a no charge mentor service. I just wonder if its on the up and up.

I've never heard of it. It's not implausible that it's entirely altruistic, pilots tend to like to do that kind of thing and they often have the time.

Odd though that they don't list any actual names under "Meet the Team".

Wouldn't hurt to reach out to them but at the the slightest hint of phishing, sales or steering towards specific lenders, schools or employers run, don't walk, away. Also obviously don't give them much in the way of personal info until you know more.

Thanks, that was pretty much my thoughts

It's legit. I used the website as a mentee and was connected with a mentor that provided me with a lot of great advice. One of the contacts I met within the group gave me a shoe in for my first flying job, and my mentor helped me prepare for the interview process. I'm considering becoming a mentor with them now that after almost 2 years i am starting to have a little bit of advice I can share myself and pay it forward

As mentioned, it’s a legitimate website.

George Nolly interviewed the PPOT guys on his podcast, Ready for Takeoff, in 2017. Seem like a great group of folks.

Jason Schappert of MzeroA has some pretty good pilot training videos on youtube. I find his personality pretty annoying but his youtube videos are a great training resource. He has a lot of free videos on youtube and he is also trying to sell his full video training system.

Professional Pilots of Tomorrow is a free mentoring site. Their goal is to provide mentorship to new pilots coming into the field or current pilots looking to advance their careers. I know all the founders and they are great people. They truly care. Send me a PM if you would like to learn more.

Aero Crew Solutions is hosting a free job fair this Friday from 11 AM - 4 PM EST. PPOT will be attending so you can ask them questions directly via chat or video conference. aerocrewsolutions.vfairs.com
