3 Years Down The Road
I know most of y'all will say we don't know.
But just take a guess. Use your experience from SARS, MERS and 2008.
The 2000s were a **** decade. Because of 9/11 and 2008 and how close they were to each other.
Take a guess.

Every pilot has started their side business after bailing on this career. Next thing you know there's a microbrewery, IT services, real estate office and rental property on every block in America and beyond.

More social responsibility and awareness about epidemics/pandemics worldwide, countries/governments and especially airline companies/corporations are more prepared, industry picking back up with tremendous demand until the next event around 2030ish. For me, I am hired at a regional at age 44-45 and move on up to a major at around 50-52 until they say "okay it is time to go."

After the alien invasion in late 2020, the Boragian race will have brought the planet to its knees. It’s likely, given their insanely high and unwarranted self-esteem, pilots will have somehow carved out a niche serving their new masters, thanks in large part to ALPA.
