Applying the Jobs Without Certificate Number

Hello,

I'm currently working abroad flying B777. I recently finished my ATP-CTP course & Accelerated B777 Type Rating. As a result of this, I got my FAA Temporary ATP with AMEL B777 privileges. However, in this document, there is no certificate number. Instead, It's written pending. I filled out application forms for United, Delta, and American. As you can guess, they are asking certificate number for FAA ATP. In these applications, I wrote 'PENDING' for the certificate number and the system accepted it. Nevertheless, I'm not sure if should I send my application like this.

Are there any folks who know about my case? Is it ok to write PENDING for the certificate number? Will airlines process my application without any number (I have temporary FAA ATP which is legit and legal to use meanwhile)?

Thank you,

Do you have any previous FAA pilot certs? If so, your ATP cert will be the same number.

Otherwise I'm sure pending would be fine since that's what it says on your temp.

Thank you for the answer. I don't have any previous FAA pilot certificate. I only have a temporary FAA ATP.

I'll try to apply like this. I'll let the forum know about the process. I hope It works. I don't want to lose months to apply the jobs.

His temp ATP wouldn't say pending if he had previous standalone FAA certificates.
