Resigning before IOE to go to another Carrier
So, I have been waiting for two months for my IOE at my regional and have been offered a class date for a larger “National” carrier. According to my current carrier IOE is still several weeks away and will NOT be completed before my class date at the new company. The question I have is…how will this show up on my PRIA? I have had no failures during training and am concerned it could cause problems down the line should I apply for a “Legacy”, should the time come for that career path. Any advice would be appreciated or personal knowledge of the situation.

I believe it will show as "incomplete", which is the same as "failed". I'm a bit out of the loop but that's how it used to be anyway.
Try to verify for certain how it will be documented. Ask your union?
If it is in fact going to show as "incomplete" and indistinguishable from a failure then I'd try to avoid that if possible. Delay your class date?
But if push comes to shove you should be able to explain it away, since the timing should support your story... awaiting IOE, got hired by major. Just try to avoid a big air gap between termination and major class date. Since you're in training you can expect that they'll terminate you the instant you give notice.
