Fagan, you need to relax a little. It seems you are going a hundred miles an hour. Remember to be cool and calm. If you are hectic and unsure, they'll send you home. Just take it slow and you'll be fine.

If you can get a computer printout of flight times from your company, signed and stamped by the chief pilot or someone else in authority that would generally suffice. Failing that get your logbook stamped or signed by someone in your company. Failing that, get a copy of your latest FAA form 8710 signed and/or notarized.

Has anyone tried to order that Emirates Interview book? I've tried every which way but Sunday and can not get it ordered. Won't take either my Visa nor my PayPal account. Hmmm........

It is sometimes an issue that I use a Mac computer and the compatibility will sometimes come into play on a few websites.

Thanks,

K

Do you have to be a UAE resident to join emirates air? Also what are the perks

Has anyone recently went to UAE for the interview? If so, what was it like? Did they show you housing and the area? Was it what you thought? Did you take your spouse? Thanks.

I didn't interview at Emirates but I took a tour of the place when I went there. A friend of mine works there. All I can say is the place is awesome. State of the art. The apartments that you will stay in if you are single is like living in a high rise in New York. The villas if you are married with kids are great as well. When we pulled into the neighbor hood you would have thought you were in an upscale so Florida neighborhood. The food was incredible especially the fruit. Like nothing you get here in the states. If you can deal with the scorching temps in the summer I think you will love it. If you can live cheap while you are there and not get an expensive car then there is no reason you cant trtire early. They pay for just about everything. Good luck!!
