Presenting Logbooks at Interviews

I haven't been in the market for a new job in the past 4.5 years and I am condsidering getting back in. Since then, I have transitioned my logbook from paper to PC (Logbook Pro.) I am curious, as to how applicants present there digital logbooks to prospective companies. I currently work for a 135 Charter/Management Company and if I do make a move, I would consider another 135, corporate flight department or Fractional. Your help would be appreciated.

This situation isn't uncommon at all. They just need to be able to review the hours you claim. So, when you go to interview print the electronic logbook and take that along with your physical ones. And don't forget to sign every page of your printout!

Nah...I've gone through all my stuff over and over and I have it all looking good! At least the way the USN/USMC logs which the more I learn seems to be a little off!:o

Call Scott Leather and order a custom landscape leather binder with your name embossed for around $70. It looks very professional and will be appreciated. Go to Kinko's and get them to print out your logbook pro PDF file onto resume paper for a great look and pretty cheap price (cheaper than doing it yourself). I interviewed and was hired last year at a Legacy carrier and brought both my paper logbook and the printed out version. They told me they liked the printed version but thanked me for bringing the old fashioned one as well (both logbooks are current and have he same entries). FYI, hope this helps.

I would never blame it on the ops folks, like you say it's MY logbook. I would never try a pass the buck in an interview, I don't think it would go over well.

I kindly thanked the interviewer for pointing out the mistake that it would be fixed immediately. OBTW it was a page I signed. I hate tap dancing!

AND does anyone have any actual pictures of their printed out electric logbooks? i want to get some ideas.
