Resume Question

I often hear of people going to job fairs or other random place just handing out resumes to whomever they meet.

My resume has a “job objective” area listed on the top and states something like: To work for/be a Pilot for XYZ Airline/Charter Co…

How are others addressing their resumes or what are you putting in place of it when it's for a non specific company? i.e. job fair

Thanks

Personally I don't put an objective on my aviation resume...they already know what job you're applying for.

On a non-aviation resume (for a real-job, not fast food) I would state any objectives in my cover letter. If you're just handing out resumes at a job fair you probably don't need a cover letter...again, they already know why you're there.

I do/did the same as you Time; but I guess you could put in that same line - Seeking employment as Co-pilot/First Officer to make it a more generic resume.
I have found the cover letter to be a little harder to manage to make it generic.
Good luck.
